Don’t take our word for it. Open a real game.

Explore real progamer replays in Repalyzer’s own interface, right in your browser: read the build orders side by side, follow the economy minute by minute, check APM and hotkeys, and see what the integrity review finds in a game against a bot.

// Three views

Your library. Your trends. Every game in depth.

Repalyzer reads the replays already on your PC. Nothing is uploaded and your original files are never changed, moved or deleted unless you ask.

Your whole replay collection, searchable

The Local Explorer imports the game's replay folder in one click, or any folder or .rep file you drag in.

  • Find any game by player, race, opponent, map, length, date or integrity status, and save the view.
  • Background analysis works through your newest 300 games, one folder or the whole library, and can pause while StarCraft is open.
  • Automatic mode analyses each game within seconds of it ending, with a card showing APM, supply blocked, idle workers and one thing to fix.

See what wins you games, and what loses them

Pick any player in your library, including yourself, on the Player dashboard. Known Players links every name one person has used, so smurfs and renamed accounts count as one.

  • Win rate by matchup, map and month, with your strongest and toughest matchup and map.
  • Scouting card for any opponent: head-to-head, their openings, what worked for you and the maps you met on.
  • Patterns compares your wins with your losses, including supply blocks, idle workers and the best time of day to play.

One game, minute by minute

Repalyze any replay, or double-click a .rep file once Repalyzer is your default replay app.

  • Game at a glance: the three moments that decided the game, and the opportunities you missed.
  • APM, hotkeys and build order: how much of your speed was spam, which groups you really used, and a copy button for the build.
  • Income, workers and supply: mining over time, idle workers and every supply block.

Built to tell you what to practise next

Numbers are only useful if they turn into a habit. These are the parts that do that.

One thing to fix

Your biggest gap in one line: the measure (Macro, Idle workers, Hotkeys or Speed) where this game fell furthest below your usual games in the matchup, with the worst minute to jump to.

Biggest gap to progamers · Light vs Soma Idle workers 9.6% of worker time Most idle at 8:00–9:00 · Progamers’ top 10%: 2.4%

Game card: share the game

The result, both players’ Skill shapes and the key numbers on one picture, ready to copy or save as a PNG.

What actually happened, not what was clicked

Repalyzer replays each game in a copy of the Brood War engine, so economy, supply and timings come from what really happened on the map. A command that never succeeded, such as a building that was never placed, is not counted as if it had.

How it’s measured →
// Skill shape

Five skills. One shape. How close are you to the pros?

Every game gets a pentagon: Micro, Speed, Hotkeys, Idle workers and Macro, each scored from 0 to 10. A 10 is the level of the best 10% of progamer games in that race and matchup. Here are three progamers’ averages over the games in their replay packs (7 minutes or longer), overall or one matchup at a time.

SoulkeyZerg · 51 games

Snow, the average of 51 games (PvT 17, PvZ 26, PvP 8). Strongest at Speed (8.9), lowest at Idle workers (6.8).

// Pro replay packs

Measure yourself against the pros

Recent 1v1 games of progamers in their main race. Import a pack, pick the player in Adept, and see any game of yours against their average in the same matchup, minute by minute.

How to use a pack: unzip it, import the folder in Repalyzer and pick the player in Adept; greyed-out matchups have fewer than 10 games, so comparisons there are rougher.

// Install

Installing in two minutes

Repalyzer is a free tool made by one player, and code-signing certificates cost hundreds of euros a year, so the installer is unsigned: your browser and Windows will each ask once whether you trust it. Here is what you will see.

  1. Keep the file in your browser

    Your browser may say Repalyzer-Setup.exe isn't commonly downloaded. In Chrome, open Downloads and choose Keep. In Edge, open the … menu next to the file, choose Keep, then Show more → Keep anyway.

  2. Run it past SmartScreen

    When Windows shows Windows protected your PC, click More info, then Run anyway. The installer lets you pick the folder and adds a desktop shortcut.

  3. First launch

    Choose which Known Players lists to start with (Korean progamers, Foreigner players, both, or none), then import the game's replay folder or skip it for later.

Verify the file (optional)

Every release publishes its SHA-256 checksum: if it matches, you have exactly the file Grast built. Open a terminal in your Downloads folder and run:

certutil -hashfile Repalyzer-Setup.exe SHA256
// Requirements & FAQ

Good to know before you install

Requirements

  • Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.
  • ~110 MB download.
  • StarCraft: Remastered replays (.rep). Older 1.16 replays work too.
  • StarCraft installed from Battle.net for the simulation tabs (income, workers & supply, Adept, hidden-unit scan). The free version is enough, and the game does not need to be running.
Is it safe to install?

Yes. Repalyzer reads your replays on your own PC and works offline: nothing is uploaded, and your replay files are never changed, moved or deleted unless you ask. Windows warns about it only because the installer is unsigned (a code-signing certificate costs hundreds of euros a year), not because anything was found in it. Every release is scanned on VirusTotal and published with its SHA-256 checksum, so you can check that your file is exactly the one Grast built.

What works without StarCraft installed?

The library, player dashboard, Patterns, APM, hotkeys, actions and build order all work from the replay alone. The simulation-based tabs read game data from an installed StarCraft; without it, those tabs are unavailable.

Can it tell if someone was maphacking?

The integrity review lists suspicious evidence in a replay and how strong each clue is. It never declares a player guilty; you decide, and you can mark games as reviewed, confirmed or a suspected bot.

How are the ratings and benchmarks worked out?

Every rating has one published formula. The Skill shape is scored against 4,905 progamer and 382 low-rank ladder games, and the Initial split against 2,920 progamer games at the same spawn position. Under the hood: the methodology behind Repalyzer walks through each one with worked examples.

Is there a Mac or Linux version?

Not yet. Repalyzer is a Windows app. On a phone you can use Send to my PC at the top of this page.

Language and accessibility?

English · colour-blind safe palette (Okabe–Ito) · text size up to 130%.

I found a bug. Where do I report it?

In the app, open Help & diagnostics and click Copy diagnostics, then paste it with a short description to Grast.
