Questions this episode answers
Why open Overpool instead of 12 Hatchery on two-player maps in ZvP?
On a two-player map the Protoss finds the Zerg base immediately and can easily block an early 12 Hatchery with a Probe. An Overpool gives you early Zerglings to chase the Probe away and makes your natural expansion safe.
How does Zerg best deal with a Protoss Corsair opening?
Build a Spire quickly and make pairs of Scourge to hunt the Corsairs. That keeps your Overlords alive and your vision intact, and lets you move safely into Hydralisks or Mutalisks.
What is Technics's main idea in his ZvP on Destination?
He builds a solid three-base economic lead, contains the Protoss with Hydralisks and Lurkers, and pulls attention away with Lurker drops. Instead of head-on all-ins he piles up a resource advantage and slowly strangles his opponent.
